A & F 1892 Green is a bright citrus-green men's fragrance from Abercrombie & Fitch released in 2011. At its core it is a citrus fragrance that opens on lemon, yuzu and mixed citruses, moves into a cooling mint heart and settles on a dry driftwood base, creating a green, aromatic accord with fresh spicy and woody facets. The blend reads fresh and daytime-oriented, with a clear emphasis on citrus and green mint rather than heavy woods. It has a small but very positive voting record, earning top ratings from the available voters.
Our take
I like the sharp lemon and yuzu lift and the mint that keeps it green and crisp. Projection is strong and it works well for daytime in warm weather. My main issue is the base feels thin and the drydown lacks depth, so it can come across one-note after a few hours.

A & F 1892 Green has a tall, upright rectangular bottle with a transparent appearance and a flat-looking base. Its black cylindrical cap is conventional, but the broad navy and lime-green bands, finished with a small red “A&F 1892” label, give the front a lively graphic punch. We find it more distinctive than the silhouette suggests.
Original or Clone
The strongest case for the original is its bottle: the vivid graphic treatment gives this citrus-green aromatic fragrance a visual presence the plain fact of one tracked interpretation cannot establish either way. One house has tried to reproduce it, which confirms some reference status without making a claim about resemblance.
