That pyramid produces a citrus-forward woody scent where aromatic lavender and warm spice round the core, while sandalwood and tonka add a soft, milky drydown and amber brings gentle sweetness. Acqua di Parma released this gender-neutral Eau de Parfum in 2019; wearers often call it clean and barbershop-like, with a pronounced sandalwood character. It holds a solid 4.01 out of 5 from 722 votes and is widely seen as polished and wearable.
Our take
I like Sandalo for how it opens bright and citrusy with a clear lavender touch before settling into soft, creamy sandalwood. The cardamom gives a mild spice and tonka plus amber warm the base. Its strength is a clean, easy-to-wear profile that works at the office or a night out. My complaint is that it can feel safe and familiar; lovers of bold or unusual sandalwood may find it too restrained. Performance was good on my skin, though community reports show some variation.
