Haze by Akro (2018), created by Olivier Cresp and released for women and men, is built on a sharp top of eucalyptus, mint and absinthe, a sage heart and a base of patchouli and leather. That note pyramid produces a cool, camphor-leaning opening that slowly yields to a dry, leathery patchouli undercurrent with herbal clarity. The perfume reads aromatic, green and woody with a fresh spicy edge. With 1,026 votes and an average score of 3.71/5, reactions are mixed but many wearers praise the bold mint-absinthe opening and the unusual herbal-to-leather dry down.
Our take
I like Haze for its bold, clinical mint and absinthe top that eventually softens into a dry patchouli-leather with sage; longevity is moderate on me and I use it mostly in spring daytime, though the sharp opening will put some people off.

Akro Haze’s bottle is a conventional upright form, with rounded shoulders, straight sides and a thick-looking rounded base visible in outline. Its transparent body carries a very pale yellow-green tint, while the dark rounded cap keeps the silhouette restrained. The oversized handwritten Akro mark gives the sparse typography some character, but the object remains fairly ordinary.
