Ehsas by Al Haramain is a unisex composition built around a steady core of musk and ambergris set against warm woody notes. The pyramid opens with bright citruses and a spicy edge that sit alongside white flowers and rose, while the heart brings aldehydes, sea-like saltiness, lily-of-the-valley and geranium over the musk and ambergris. The base closes on sandalwood, tonka, moss and guaiac wood, producing a woody-ambery white floral that leans powdery and musky as it dries. Reception is mixed: many users praise its heavy dry-down and long persistence, while a sizable group finds it dense or sharp on skin.
Our take
I find Ehsas bold and unusual: the first moments are a citrusy, salty burst that quickly gives way to a dense musk-amber dry-down. Longevity and sillage are massive on me, which I respect, but the transition can feel rough and sour depending on skin chemistry. It's interesting and wearable if you want a strong statement, but not subtle or easy to love.

Ehsas comes in a tall, narrow rectangular bottle with a pale, transparent-looking presentation and pale yellow liquid. Gold-toned elements and ornate linear decoration gather around the neck and upper body, set against a rectangular gold-beige box whose two-part horizontal layout carries Arabic script and “EHSAS.” It is more distinctive than the usual rectangular perfume bottle.
