The Bottle
Boundless makes the cap the clear star. Its dark burgundy rectangular body is conventional enough, but the oversized ivory fan cap, gold-coloured collar and purple centre detail create a rich, theatrical contrast. A pale raised crest and gold-toned lettering keep the front from becoming empty, though they make the bottle feel more dressed-up than understated. I think the colour pairing works beautifully: bold without becoming garish. The cap gives Boundless a confident finish and makes it instantly identifiable, even though the body itself follows a familiar Amouage shape.
