The Bottle
Journey Woman makes the familiar Amouage rectangle feel ceremonial through a deep red body, ribbed gold-coloured dome cap and broad, flat-looking base. Darkened edges and glossy highlights give the body more depth, while the central medallion reinforces the old-world mood. It’s a heavy bottle, with the broad base providing the visible reason for that judgement. The squat proportions are a little awkward, but they also make the presentation feel confident rather than delicate. This is one of the more convincing Amouage bottles, with enough presence to reward keeping the original.
