About Anfasic October 10th

The fragrance these clones are inspired by.

October 10th is an oud-forward unisex release from Anfasic that pairs a bright fruity opening of apple, peach and plum with a white-floral heart of lily and rose, settling on a warm base of agarwood, patchouli and vanilla. At its core it reads as a fruity-floral oud: the top notes give immediate sweetness, the florals soften the center, and the oud and patchouli add woody, resinous depth sweetened by vanilla. Market response is mixed, with a 3.62/5 average across eight votes and wearers split between those who enjoy its easy nature and those who find it generic.

Our take

I like the concept here but I wish it had more character. The fruit opening is bright and the lily-rose heart keeps it soft; the base of oud, patchouli and vanilla adds warmth without bite. Projection often works well, I noticed people could smell it at a distance, but longevity is hit-or-miss. To me it feels safe and familiar rather than bold. It's pleasant for daytime wear, especially in warmer months, but not a piece I reach for when I want to stand out.

A Closer Look

The Bottle

Anfasic October 10th has a broad rectangular bottle with softened side and lower edges, holding an almost opaque-looking dark burgundy-purple liquid. The wide silver-coloured cap, with its curved, faceted-looking outline and exposed central actuator, gives the familiar shape real presence. White botanical motifs and bilingual lettering make the front feel decorative rather than anonymous.

Original or Clone

The bottle gives October 10th a stronger case than its modest standing alone would suggest. Its dark, decorative presentation is unusually memorable, while the leading accords—oud, white floral and fruity, with patchouli behind them—give the fragrance a clear character. Two houses have made interpretations, a small but meaningful sign that this particular character has drawn attention beyond its own release. With no evidence that lets us judge those versions against it, the original has the firmer case.
