Anna Sui's Flight of Fancy Spirit (2018) is a women's fragrance that takes a tropical turn within the Flight of Fancy line. It opens on ripe mango with bergamot and other citruses, moves into a floral heart of frangipani, lotus and gardenia, and settles on a marine-tinged base of sea water, driftwood and musk. The composition is dominated by tropical and marine accords with clear fruity, floral and citrus facets. With a modest 3.83/5 from a small group of voters, the perfume is generally liked for its bright opening but the woody-musk drydown draws mixed reactions.
Our take
I like the sunny mango-citrus opening and the tropical florals, but the drydown jumps to driftwood and musk too quickly and the scent loses its sparkle; longevity is poor for me, though sillage can be surprisingly strong in the first hour, best as a short summer daytime wear.

The standard body is unremarkable on its own, but the oversized peacock ornament, with its fan of eye-like feather forms, gives the bottle an unusually theatrical silhouette.
