Our take
I have a soft spot for vintage Anne Klein II. The powdery iris over dry amber and woods smells of an 80s oriental but the green-peach top keeps it from going cloying. On older bottles I get a long, spicy-vanilla dry-down I enjoy. Recent re-releases I tried felt thinner and sweeter, with less presence and shorter life. If you want the full character, try to find a well-preserved vintage bottle rather than relying on the current mist-like versions.
