Our take
I like Blue Oud when I want a raw, powerful oud. The Cambodian oud opening is bold and a little dank, the musk in the heart smooths it into a warm, powdery animalic core, and the Indian oud in the base keeps it heavy and resinous. Performance is excellent, it lasts and projects for hours, but that strength is also a drawback: it can feel overpowering indoors or in heat. Good for winter nights or for anyone who prefers a dense, assertive oud; not for fans of subtle or office-friendly scents.
