Our take
I like the way the jammy rose and vanilla settle into a spicy, woody base; that combo gives real presence. The opening can be harsh and peppery for the first hour, so patience is needed. Once it smooths out the patchouli and oud add weight without drowning the rose. Longevity and sillage are excellent on my skin and clothes, which makes this an easy pick for cold evenings. It is not a light, casual scent and will not suit everyone, but I find it striking when it works.
