At its core, Sensual Oud is a rose-led oud in the oriental woody-floral family that pairs jammy fruit, warm spice and leathered wood. Art de Parfum released this unisex scent in 2016; it opens on dates, geranium and cloves, moves through a heart of rose, saffron and suede, and settles on agarwood (oud) with patchouli and cypriol. The composition balances a sweet top against a drier, resinous base so rose remains prominent throughout. With a 3.77/5 average from 53 votes, reactions are split: about 30% rate it love while roughly 19% dislike or hate it.
Our take
I like that Sensual Oud keeps the rose front and center while oud, saffron and suede provide weight and warmth. The dates and geranium give a sweet, slightly jammy opening that works for me in small doses but can read synthetic on some skins. Projection can be impressive; longevity varies by wearer. Given the mixed votes, I recommend sampling first, it will charm some people and turn others off.

Its pale, near-colourless liquid has a slight greenish cast, while the centered label pairs “SENSUAL” with ornate “OUD” lettering and thin rules. The oversized cream cylindrical cap makes the whole object more distinctive than routine.
