Marketed for women and men, it opens on pink pepper and bergamot over ambrette's soft musk, then shifts into suede, birch and jasmine that add smoky and floral facets. The base brings agarwood and vanilla layered with dry birch. Key accords point to leather, musk, oud and smoke with powdery and citrus touches. Our take
I enjoy Oud Saphir for its clear leather focus and clean, smoky birch. The bright pink pepper and bergamot opening gives it lift before suede and jasmine round the heart, and the oud sits in the base with a soft vanilla cushion. Longevity on me is closer to long-lasting and sillage runs moderate to strong, which matches a lot of reports. It can feel familiar next to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather and other leather-oud releases, but I like the balance of leather, smoke and restrained sweetness enough to keep it in rotation.
