Our take
I respect the idea behind Bois Sikar: the wood, styrax and tobacco form a dense, long-lasting core that I enjoy on cool evenings. On my skin the nutmeg and styrax keep the smoke warm rather than harsh, and the vetiver adds a dry backbone that prevents it from feeling syrupy. That said, the smoky, charred facets can veer into a foodlike or BBQ impression on some people, and the intensity is not subtle, try a decant before committing to a full bottle.
