About Azzaro Wanted by Night
The fragrance these clones are inspired by.
Azzaro Wanted by Night (2018), by Michel Girard and Quentin Bisch, is a men's evening fragrance built around a spiced tobacco core. The composition opens on a cinnamon-driven citrus lift where mandarin and lemon meet lavender for a bright, spicy start. A heart of fruity facets, cumin, incense and red cedar adds smoky, resinous warmth that bridges the top to a base of tobacco, vanilla, cedar, leather, benzoin, Iso E Super, cypress and patchouli. The result is a warm-spicy, cinnamon-forward scent with fruity and woody dimensions and a sweet amber-tinged finish. With a 4.27/5 average from 7,324 votes and 54% of voters marking it a favorite, it is popular and often polarising among wearers.
Our take
I keep a bottle for winter nights because the cinnamon and tobacco combo hits my preference for bold, attention-getting scents. The incense and cedar add enough structure to stop the sweetness from feeling flat, and the longevity and projection line up with the community data, this is a long-lasting, strong perfume on my skin. I can see why some call it over the top or too sweet; it is loud and not subtle. For me it works as a confident night-out signature rather than an everyday office scent.
