The Bottle
Pale yellow-green liquid shows around Adventuress’s dark circular front, where silver-toned knotwork takes the place of a conventional label. The contrast feels heraldic and ceremonial, though the amount of ornament is slightly awkward. Its metal cap has a dark rounded top and silver-toned collar, neatly repeating the colours below. This is a heavy bottle, an impression supported by the thick, wide base. It’s theatrical by any ordinary standard, but memorable enough to rank among the stronger expressions of Boadicea’s familiar style.
