The Bottle
Valiant swaps the usual knotwork-led centre for two rearing horses, giving Boadicea’s familiar circular bottle a heroic character. Pale yellow-gold liquid shows through the broad, flattened body, while the large emblem sits inside a braided circular border. The narrow neck and wide ridged cap are treated in warm gold tones, creating a direct, decorative finish. It’s a little theatrical, but the proportions are pleasing and the horses are easy to recognise. This is one of the house’s more successful departures from its usual interlaced centre.
