Black Guava is a 2025 release from BORNTOSTANDOUT® by perfumer Suzy Le Helley, marketed for women and men. The composition opens on ripe guava and bright mandarin with a pinch of cardamom, then moves into a heart where smoky oud and floral peony, rose and green geranium meet. That pairing creates a fruity-oud profile that feels sweet, tropical and resinous at once; the base of amber, patchouli and cypriol adds dry warmth and earth. Our take
I like the real, juicy guava up front and the way mandarin and cardamom lift it, but the leathery oud can get harsh on my skin; performance is stellar so a little goes a long way, and this works best for evening wear when you want to stand out.
