Our take
I find Filthy Musk a daring, winter-night perfume that rewards patience but demands care. On my skin it opens with a sharp, animalic musk that softens into honeyed sweetness, rum and sticky caramel. The longevity is impressive and sillage sits between moderate and strong for hours, yet the early 'pissy' or chemical animal notes will turn some people off immediately. I respect the creative risk and the texture of the drydown, but I advise sampling first: the balance between synthetic musk and natural warmth is uneven and will polarize wearers.

Filthy Musk has a bottle that makes a strong impression. Its opaque white body narrows sharply at the waist before flaring toward the shoulders, while the broad white cap extends beyond the neck.
